Box office, snack bar, ticket check, restrooms and screens grow with you. From a worn-out screen to a premium screen with recliners. Every stage visibly changes the facade, forecourt and street.

50 films in eight genres, each with its own poster. Families, teens, couples and film buffs want different films at different times. A full screen earns the most.

Guests arrive by car, bus, bike or on foot. Short lines, clean screens and enough restrooms keep them happy. Six regulars come back again and again and bring their friends.

A lounge with a bar, an arcade, a merch kiosk, underground parking and an open-air cinema. Guests with time to spare sit down, play a round or buy a souvenir.

Premiere nights with a red carpet earn double. Sneak previews and little incidents keep things fresh.

Six managers with their own personalities take work off your hands. A cleaning crew keeps the screens and lobby spotless.
Popcorn Palace is a game by Joshua Luca Kirkland. Idea, design and development come from one person, with no studio behind it. That is why the game is the way I want to play it myself:
Nothing. The game is free, with no ads, no in-app purchases and no subscription.
You take over a run-down cinema on the edge of town and turn it into a multiplex. You plan films, upgrade the box office, snack bar and screens, and keep your guests happy. Then you open four more cinemas in new places.
